To make your visitors revisit your site on a regular basis, the best way is to make them add your site to their favorites list. Users save the sites that they want to visit again in their system's favorites menu. Being added to the favorites menu is equivalent to getting an ad in the browser's menu, that too for free.

Make it Easy
The addition of a website to the favorite menu option is hidden and thus generally forgotten by most of the users. However, if you place a link for the same, many more people will add your site to their favorite menu. Even if they don't use the link, it reminds them of the favorites function in their browser's menu. Thus, the chances of your site being added increase.

Pay Attention to the Title
It is also important that the name and purpose of your site is evident in your title, so that people can find it easily when they look through their favorites list. It should not be too long, but self-sufficient in itself.
